Poet and Artist working from Mid Wales Mark has been writing since school but a brief interlude in Her Majestys' military interjected in his civilian career, though became a source of huge inspirational value. Over the prevailing years the creative imagination has reignited the desire to compose mind and body and to begin the process once more.
Mark's first collection, 'Rollercoaster Emotion', was published in 2006. Since then he has undertaken the synchronous behaviour of academic study and creative desire, which can be relaxing yet constrictive, as the vortex of emotion seeks to drive the physical being towards an inevitable direction.
Mark has published in a variety of poetry magazines and anthology, with his subsequent second collection, 'The Abandoned Soldier; Reflections of War' was published by Silverwood Books in 2010. The process incorporated two projects which also ran in parallel with the publication: 'The Abandoned Soldier Project' and 'The TAS Project'. This publication is a current resource for many Secondary Education establishments in Wales and England.
'Catching a Snowflake' was a limited edition commissioned for a wedding and incorporates work by Mark and also the editing and publishing process; 'Conch' based in Mid Wales, under whom most of his future work will be published.
In 2014 Mark published 'Testimony to Times - A Social History of Oblique Observations' by Themis Jones under the publishing house Conch.In 2016 Mark will publish is latest collection; 'The Rhythm of Thought becomes Conscious of Mind - A Poiesis in the Soul'.
